3 options in Accounting at Kaskaskia College

A.A.S. degree (4 semesters)

The complete accounting curriculum provides students with a foundation for understanding business and the effective management of that business within many different contexts.  The A.A.S. degree in Accounting prepares students considering para-professional positions in industry, government, and not-for-profit organizations.

Certificate in Accounting (10 courses)

A certificate in Accounting prepares students with the basic bookkeeping skills required for effective office management.  Courses in payroll and tax preparation, as well as, computerized accounting make up the core of this course of study.

Certificate in Small Business Accounting (7 courses)

A certificate in Small Business Accounting prepares students for entry level employment with practical accounting skills for small capitalized service and merchandising business that dominate our local economy.
