Program Overview

This certificate is designed to provide the prospective entrepreneur with the basic skills needed to launch a successful business venture. A study of the essential decisions an entrepreneur will encounter in starting a business venture. The focus of the course is the development of an effective business plan. Topics covered include: entrepreneurial characteristics, marketing research, financial preparation, legal structures, new venture assessment/valuation, and sources of capital.
